Shippin' off to London...

Somewhere in London.

Well, how about it then? Jumped on a plane last night for another journey to the Mother Land.
4 months on tour in Europe and who knows what I'll get up to.
One thing's for certain: I'll be trying out lots of new gear! My goods and I have travelled across the pond all in one unit, and it's time for some fun! Most of the clothing I'm taking is Icebreaker (of course), and I've worn most of it previously...not a great deal to test there...It will be interesting though, to see how it holds up to all my abuse, especially the Superfine stuff.
Some of my gear is new, some "previously loved", and other stuff is tried and tested.

Osprey Ariel 65 Pack: my carry-everything pack - I crammed everything into this pack:
Camera Tripod
Five Ten Climbing shoes
Climbing harness
Prana chalk bag
The North Face Cat's Meow Sleeping Bag
Therm-a-rest
clothing for all occasions and activities (including rain jacket and pants)
repair kits
tent pegs
travel pillow
toilitries
MSR 2 L
tarp
and 1.5 Litres of Canadian Maple Syrup
My pack still came in at 6 lbs under the weight limit of 50 lbs.
Merrels

Osprey Talon 22 Pack:
My day-pack/carry-on. Holds my laptop and all cables and accessories (including harddrives, card readers, photo accessories), snacks for the journey, Lonely Planet Travel guides, 1/2 litre Nalgene
headphones
Travel documents in Innate Document Bags
Notebook
Moola
Oakley's - Speechless
Wool Buffs
The North Face Cipher Windstopper Jacket
Sweater
The Bare essential toiletries (toothbrush and travel toothpaste, floss, ear plugs, tums, bandaids, Emergen-c, lip balm).

And now it'll be interesting to see what gets used the most and what can be left behind on future trips.
