My 30th Birthday

I'm 30!! :)

Woke up to presents in bed, friends took me out for breakfast and gave me delicious homemade cupcakes, we rented kayaks and explored the Cornish coast for the entire afternoon (the best way to see Newquay and it's surrounding areas), and then Simon took me out for an awesome meal at one of our favourite places to eat. The weather was perfect, we laughed the whole day, and we were all exhausted at the end of it. LML!!! ( Love My Life ;) )

I don't have a waterhousing for my camera (yet!), so we took out Simon's point-and-shoot and stuck it in our little bag-housing. Not the best quality photos, but does the job, captures some super-fun times, and well...here are the photos from yesterday. (Click on photos to enlarge)

My awesome cupcakes (Thanks Emma!)

Thanks for a great birthday everyone!

Beaut.

It is just the most beautiful day, in such a beauty place. Things just don't get any better than this.
Had such a great brunch at my favourite cafe, The Beached Lamb, in Newquay. Simon got a delish burger, the Murgatron (I think!), and I had The Roxy (super yummy, filling falafel, avo and tomato sandwich), and we washed it down with beer and coffees (it's 5 o'clock somewhere!).

Oh! And did I mention that a bunch of my work is now adorning their walls? Such a great venue for it, and such a perfect day to go for a stroll and check it out and support some of the locals. This series is all based in Cornwall, and for me, really shows the beauty and rugged-ness of Cornwall's awesome coast.

There it is! (it's so much better in real-life though, go check it out!)

Breakfast of champions, and well deserved. :)

If you can't make it to the Lamb to see my work, you can take a gander at my online shop ( reneeansellart.etsy.com ), where all my prints will be available for purchase (and new ones will be added regularly).

The Coast is where it's at...

Rockin' Newquay for the past few days and just don't want to leave. Been here in the off-season and the on-season, and I love it. So much to explore and the beaches and cliffs are sweet. Camping in beach-side sites, and on fields up on the cliffs, and staying with some friends over-looking Fistral Beach...it just doesn't get much better than this.

Found this new cafe in town...the Beached Lamb Cafe...close to the beach and shops...and it has Vegan and Veggie options! Really tasty, and the staff are super chill - special thanks to John and Nicole for the awesome service! Freshly squeezed orange juice, killer shakes and a funky, laid-back atmosphere - they also have a certified massage therapist available for seated massages! Had the Veggie Breakie and a soy latte and it's kept me full all day long. I even had the option of non-dairy-fied veggies on the grill. :)

Highly recommend this place - rocked my day! :)

Super Yummy Veggie Breakfast....best Veggie Sausage I've had yet! :)
