Status: Full, Yet Unsatisfied.

So you may have noticed that recently, I've been preoccupied with a project/experiment I'm working on. Basically, I'm trying to live in Vancouver (one of the most unaffordable cities in the world) on $5 a day. The whole point of this is to show the challenges and obstacles that are affecting so many people who work so hard and make so little money, all around us, every single day. They keep our societies functioning, and we usually don't hear a complaint out of them. And I'm just doing it for a month.
(My opinion is that noone can reasonably support themselves in a city like Vancouver, working at a minimum wage job).

So far, my suspicions are proving correct! This project has taken over my life! Everything I do, every decision I make, I'm constantly reminded of how much money I've spent for the day, and how much I've got left. There is no other choice but to think about it. After week 1, I'm left with $4.50 a day for the rest of the month. Crazy.

You can (cheer me on, bitch and complain about my methods, give some advice, comment, or just) check out the details here:

I'm also planning my 4-month, summer adventure to Europe. I'm excited to get back over there and immerse myself in the different cultures and landscapes. I can't wait to get back to crooked buildings from centuries ago, different accents and languages, crazy street signs, getting lost, good beer and food...the list goes on! I'm also super stoked to take more photos!
The trip is coming up fast, a little under 2 months now, and I really need to book some tickets...
